A better next session — for both of you

How It Works

How OutSession works

OutSession fills the gap between therapy sessions. Therapists set up a private space. Clients use it to reflect, prepare, and share what matters. The next session starts stronger.

1

Create a client studio

Enter a client alias, choose what's shared and whether AI-assisted features are on. You get a private invite link to hand over, as a link or a QR code.

2

Open your invite link

No email, no app download. Your therapist shares a link. You open it and set a password only you know.

3

Reflect between sessions

Describe what's on your mind and get a CBT worksheet shaped around it, not a conversation. Log what's changed, save what resonates, write down what you want to raise. Worksheets stay private until you share them.

4

Prepare your Session Board

Before your appointment, gather the items you want to bring and add a note saying why each one matters. What reaches your therapist is your choice.

5

Glance before the session

If the client shared their board, you already know what they want to discuss before they sit down.

6

The session happens

Afterwards, starting a new board completes the old one. Nothing is lost, and items can carry over. The cycle begins again.

What makes this different

A rhythm between sessions, not a conversation.

📝

Structured, not conversational

Worksheets have a beginning and an end. No ongoing AI dialogue. Like the printed worksheets a therapist would hand you — but adapted to your situation.

🔒

Visibility you control

No email required for clients, and no account tied to a real name. Worksheets stay private until you share them. On everything else, visibility is yours to turn off.

🤝

Alongside therapy, not instead of it

We don't claim to be therapy. We don't diagnose, score, or replace your therapist. OutSession exists for one thing: a better next session.
