Self-censoring in conversations with friends

You wrote

I've started self-censoring more and more. In conversations, online, even with friends. I have opinions but I've seen what happens when people say the wrong thing, so I keep quiet. It feels lonely. I used to be able to talk openly and now I second-guess everything before I say it.

It sounds like you're holding back in situations where you once felt free to speak your mind. The shift from being open to cautious can feel very isolating, especially when it happens even with friends.
