Feeling trapped by social media comparisons

You wrote

I know social media isn't real life but it still gets to me. I see people doing things I want to be doing, looking the way I want to look, living the way I want to live. I feel worse every time I scroll but I can't bring myself to delete it because I'd feel disconnected. It's a trap I can see but can't get out of.

You recognise that social media isn't the full picture, yet those images and stories still resonate deeply, don't they? It sounds like each scroll leaves you with a tension between wanting more and feeling stuck.
